anyone go to haywire sessions on friday nite in london?
i went cause i had a friend running the barbie who insisted
richard d james was gonna play lounge music upstairs.
when i arrived around 8pm i did see a slim line
richard d james lurking @ the bar b q but
never actually saw him make a move to the decks.
grabbed the ear of andrew weatherall who said,
tonite you're going to hear electro and 2 step in that
order. fasten your seat belts. it was nice and bumpy &
for once andrew played the early set... in between i ran
up & down the stairs to see if mr. james was exercising
any records. he wasnt. left at 2am.
did anyone actually see/hear richard dj?
i only ask cause i'm thinking of shelling out a tenner to
hear him play at this elektronic festival at the barbican
in october, and i dont wanna turn up to find some look
alike wanna be spinning old human league records or
whatever that guy was playing upstairs...
